I’m glad he could find a niche and be successful. My boys have been watching a very large man on YouTube who has become famous, and reasonably wealthy one might assume, by chugging all manner of beverages or whatever. I keep telling my boys that the man is going to die of diabetes, but they still think it’s funny. Fortunately they haven’t tried to emulate him.

After seeing all the stories of million selling artists that didn’t make any money and ended up broke, how have the economics of the music business changed so that this off brand motherfucker (with no real hits) has made $8MM and is cracking up Ferraris? Nothing about this makes sense unless people are really making that much off of YouTube views.

Not sure what constitut es a ‘hit’, but his songs appear to have been legit on the Billboard charts ( with sales) , and he’s been in commercials w/LeBron as well as a model for Nautica and Urban Outfitters.

I’m sure he takes in some side work on social media as well.

As far as how good his copyright lawyers and accountants are, I don’t know.
